As part of the Student Affairs Marketing team at UNC Charlotte, I collaborated with the Campus Activities Board (CAB) to design promotional materials for a range of student events across campus. Each project required adapting CAB’s vibrant, student-focused identity across different formats including flyers, posters, digital signage, and social media posts.
Client Background
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) hosts a variety of events aimed at enhancing student life, from concerts and game nights to cultural showcases and educational programs. My goal was to visually unify these events under a cohesive brand voice that reflected CAB’s energy, inclusivity, and school spirit.
Design Process
Each event began with a client brief provided by CAB via email, outlining the theme, target audience, and format requirements. I translated these briefs into clear visual directions, experimenting with layout, typography, and color to best capture the event’s mood while maintaining CAB’s recognizable branding.
Each design was formatted and optimized for multiple display types to ensure visual consistency across CAB’s promotional platforms. Deliverables included print and digital formats such as A-Frame posters, campus event screens (CE), email graphics (DS), and social media assets including Instagram posts and story layouts (IG & Social). Each piece was carefully resized and adjusted to maintain legibility, visual balance, and color accuracy across mediums, ensuring CAB’s event promotions remained cohesive and engaging wherever they appeared.

The visual style for CAB’s campaigns was energetic and student-driven combining playful color palettes, dynamic typography, and bold imagery to capture attention. I balanced consistency with creativity by adapting each event’s materials to its theme while maintaining recognizable CAB branding elements.
